Still accepting donations!
December 31 is Match Day, where your donation to Pencils of Promise will be doubled. So far, we have raised over $3,000, the highest for any single fun run, but we are still aiming for $10,000. $250 is all it takes to give a child the education he or she needs in countries like Laos, Guatemala, Ghana, and Nicaragua, the countries that the organization helps. The donation link will be open until March. Thank you to everyone who attended the run or donated!
5th annual Fun run - DATE TBD
The date for the fifth fun run has not determined, but it will probably be held in late May or June.
4th Annual Fun Run - A Success!
The fourth fun run on December 5th was a SUCCESS! We had 25 families who attended the event. In spite of the cold, runners excitedly completed their laps. We had a wide range of participants, from three-year-olds to adults. We would like to extend a big thank you to Fanfare Greenbriar Center, Bagel Buddies, Einstein Bagels Fairfax, Giant Greenbriar Center, and SweetFrog Greenbriar Center for supplying great food and coupons.
